Justin Ready joined the School of Criminology and Criminal Justice at Arizona State University as an assistant professor in the fall of 2009. He received his Ph.D. at Rutgers University, where he served as a project director in the Center for Crime Prevention Studies. He later worked as a senior research associate at the Police Foundation. He teaches courses in research methods, statistics, and criminological theory. His research interests include urban policing strategies, crime displacement, and environmental criminology.  His publications have appeared in Justice Quarterly, Criminology, Crime and Delinquency, Police Quarterly, and Criminology and Public Policy.
