Rocky Mountain Information Network (RMIN) Internship Program

 

RMIN is pleased to provide internship opportunities to undergraduate and graduate students in the School of Criminology and Criminal Justice. The students will be mentored by RMIN’s Criminal Intelligence Analysts, gaining insight to the variety of analytical services that assist with criminal investigations and prosecutions. The students will work one-on-one with the analysts to evaluate investigative data, conduct analysis, extract pertinent facts and develop recommendations for the case, as well as to convey the crucial elements through customized charts, graphs, maps and analytical reports.

* Note: Internship opportunities include both voluntary/non-paid and minimum wage student employment part/time positions based upon individual student applicant circumstances, experience, and availability to perform work as a RMIN intern. Normal RMIN office hours run from 7:00 AM and 5:00 PM (Mon-Fri).  Student part-time intern work schedules can be adjusted to accommodate individual student classroom requirements, but interns will be expected to work at least “4 hour/half day segments” of up to 20 hours per week, as individual student schedules permit. The applicant will be required to submit to an oral interview and pass a basic background check before being accepted into this RMIN Internship program.
