Job Opening: Senior Research Analyst

The Arizona Department of Juvenile Corrections is looking for a SENIOR RESEARCH ANALYST to facilitate complicated process and outcome program evaluations. The position is located at 1624 W. Adams in Phoenix. The salary range for this post is $39,983 to $68,155.

-Use complex evaluation methods to assess the impact of treatment programs.
-Analyze data using complex statistical methods.
-Prepare written and oral reports.
-Review literature to identify evaluation trends and best practices.

-Ability to synthesize and present evaluation results.
-Ability to discern the most important points from evaluation data.
-Ability to prepare evaluations based upon current research methods.
-Ability to manage complex projects.
-Knowledge of process and evaluation techniques.
-Knowledge of juvenile justice best practices.
-Knowledge of research and statistical methods.
-Knowledge of project management best practices.
-Skill in managing complex projects.
-Skill in presenting evaluations in oral, written and graphical communications.
-Skill in developing interpersonal working relationships.
-Skill in facilitating project teams.
-Skill in time management.

The KSA's are typically obtained by having a Bachelor's degree in any social science discipline with some training or education in program evaluation methodology AND possess at least two years of experience in data collection and descriptive statistical analysis. The ideal candidate will have a minimum one year of experience facilitating the work of people from different backgrounds, keeping projects on task and within established timelines.
