US Marshals Office Tucson Division Internship

STUDENT INTERNSHIP PROGRAM
 
 
The United States Marshals Service would like to extend a unique educational experience for undergraduate students interested in pursuing a career in Criminal Justice, Public Administration, or Global Security.
 
You will work with the U.S. Marshals Offices in Tucson, AZ for a semester and observe first-hand the duties and responsibilities of the men and women who comprise the nation’s oldest federal law enforcement agency.
 
Students who wish to participate in this program must meet the following criteria:
 
  • Be a junior or senior with at least 3.0 GPA
  • Be a United States Citizen
  • Pursuing a degree in Criminal Justice, Public Administration, or Global Security
  • Receive a recommendation from University Faculty
  • Complete an Interview
  • Pass a Background Investigation and Drug Test
 
To complete the internship, students must work a minimum of 150 hours at the U.S. Marshals Office in Tucson, AZ.  You must also fulfill any obligations required by your University in association with the internship. For more information on the intern requirements of your school, please contact the Internship Director.
 
This is an unpaid internship that will fulfill the requirements of your course curriculum. 
The attached “Fact Sheet” briefly outlines the duties and responsibilities of the U.S. Marshals Service.
