Victim advocates play a key role in the criminal justice system. They not only help comfort those who are the victims of crime.  They also educate victims about how the criminal justice system works, keep them abreast of the latest case information, and help coordinate restitution when warranted.

A panel of victim advocates will talk to students about the work they do, including helping victims of domestic violence.  The speakers will also answer student questions about the background, skills and experience needed to work in the field.
