SUMMER CLASSES 2015

For CRJ students, taking summer classes is a great way to get ahead in school. That's because the School of Criminology and Criminal Justice offers many popular classes in an abbreviated six-week format.  For online students, summer classes are a convenient way to save time, get caught up, or graduate early. For students who normally take classes in person, summer school also offers a tremendous cost savings. Tuition for summer classes is 40% less than the same class offered in the spring or fall semester. And because they are offered online, there's no traffic or parking to deal with.

*Note: There is one in-person class that students may want to enroll in before all the seats are taken--CRJ 422 Violence in America. This class is offered Monday, Tuesday and Thursday evenings from 6:10 to 8:15 p.m. in UCENT 279.  This class provides undergraduate students with an understanding of violence in American society. It explores the meanings and measure of violence, and puts violent acts in both theoretical and historical contexts. The class examines multiple dimensions of violence, including domestic, gang-related, terrorism, homicide, hate crimes, school violence and sexual assault and explores prevention and implications on policy.
